A Sanguine Poem

Feelin’ less broken healin’ bones
soul muscle needs most work

almost got me stuck
rock between the hardest space

a Christmas miracle, they say
or somethin’ feels more right

the worry of money keeps alive

no dull moment or smile forced
new year more than bleak

or less I mean hopeful
in fact
dandy dawdle toward light

calibrate sight most efficiently

get the most life
forget daydreamin’ up death

the creative creature
begin hustle then consult with love

let him yell at the tv
therapeutic empathy

  1. Holy! smokes!

Where or what inspired this poem?

You’re taking my mind and imagination to a whole new world or possibilities and wonder.

    My favorite line from you:

    the creative creature

Outstanding & greatly written poem. 🙂

    Two-Thumbs Way Up!! 🙂

  2. Thank you again for the kind words. I have new inspirations as of late. 🙂 Do you know of any poetry open mics in Los Angeles? Having a hard time locating ones that are only poetry.
